Personalized phone cases for couples
Matching, complementary or secretly linked — how to design a pair of cases that tells your story.
Couple phone cases have moved well past two halves of a heart. With a custom design you can make a pair that tells your actual story — the city you met in, the dog you share, the date that matters — and is still something each of you would happily carry on your own. Here’s how to plan a personalized pair, plus ideas that work for anniversaries, Valentine’s Day and weddings.
Matching, complementary or secretly linked?
Before picking a subject, pick the relationship between the two cases:
- Matching — the same design on both phones. Simple, and it works even if you have different phone models: each case is printed for its own model.
- Complementary — two halves of one idea: sun and moon, mountain and sea, a cat and a dog in the same style.
- Secretly linked — two designs that look independent but share a detail, like the same initials hidden in a corner or the same color palette.
Ideas couples actually love
- Where you met — the café, campus or city, as a vintage travel poster.
- Your first trip — a coastline or skyline at sunset in matching style.
- Your shared pet — one case with the dog, one with the cat, both in watercolor.
- Sun and moon — a classic complementary pair in gold and deep navy.
- Initials and a date — “A + J” and a short date in gold script on marble.
- Wedding flowers — a painted version of the bouquet; lovely as an anniversary gift.
- A dreamy night sky — a stylized starry sky over the place you got engaged (artistic, not an astronomical chart).
- The two of you as cartoons — tiny figures on a rooftop, a beach or a ski lift.
How to make a matching pair in the studio
- Write one sentence for the first case and generate until you like it.
- Keep the style and most of the sentence, and change only the subject — “sun” becomes “moon”, “golden retriever” becomes “tabby cat”. Keeping the wording consistent is what makes two designs feel like a set.
- Switch the phone model to the second phone before generating the second case, so the preview shows the right camera layout.
- Order each case separately — each order is one case printed for one model, and each can ship to a different address.
Getting the text right
Put any words in quotes in your sentence. Keep them short — initials, a first name or a date. Check the preview closely: if a letter comes out wrong, generate a new variation (previews are free). Short, bold lettering survives the camera cutout and the curve of the case better than long phrases.
Gifting a couple’s case
If you’re giving both cases, order them together and ship them to your own address so you can hand them over as a pair. If it’s a surprise for your partner, ship theirs to them and make a gift reveal card with a short note. For the holidays and Valentine’s Day, leave plenty of time: every case is printed to order and ships within 48 business hours, and US delivery typically takes 3–7 business days after that.

Questions
Can we have matching cases on different phones?
Yes. Each case is printed for its own phone model, so an iPhone and a Galaxy can carry the same or complementary designs.
Do you sell couple cases as a set?
Each case is ordered separately, which means each one can be a different model, style or shipping address. A Slim case is $24.99 and a Tough case is $34.99.
Can I put our names or a date on them?
Yes. Put the words in quotes in your description, keep them short, and check the preview before ordering.
What if one doesn’t fit?
Our free 30-day Perfect-Fit returns cover a remake or refund for cases that arrive damaged, misprinted or don’t fit the model ordered.
